Würth Quality Award 2014

2014 Würth Global Quality Conference was held in this May, Stuttgart, Germany. Prof. Dr. h. c. mult. Reinhold Würth, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Würth Group´s Family Trusts, attended the conference. As a Group member, Würth Line China was invited to participate in the meeting, and proudly won the "2014 Würth Quality Award”. As the highest quality award of Würth Group, the Würth Quality Award is held every two years, aiming to encourage continuous improvement in the quality filed and, ultimately, customer satisfaction.

Ms. Bettina Würth, Chairwoman of Advisory Board, was the Jury President for this year’s Quality Award. Meanwhile several other experts from Würth Quality Team were involved in the Award’s evaluation. The main criteria of the award was based on each company's contribution in terms of quality management, including best practices of quality project, process improvement, training, laboratory management, quality innovation, etc.

This award is open to all Würth companies worldwide and 14 companies were nominated. Eventually, Würth Line China stood out after the fierce competition. In addition to obtaining the award certificate, the award-winning companies will also be sponsored by group headquarter and Chubb Insurance for the quality equipment enhancement, quality staff training and continuous improvement.

The award for Würth Line China covers the internal process improvement, after-sales customer service, and sales project which quality department directly involved in.
