“iGOAL WITH WÜRTH” Customer Day Successfully Held

The 2019 “iGoal with Würth” Customer Day was held on March 7 at Würth Group Greater China Central Distribution Center Phase II (CDC Phase II). More than 400 guests attended the event at invitation.

The guests were invited to experience our innovative intelligent logistics system, to explore the industry development potentials and to grasp the future development opportunities. This year also marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of Würth China in this country. On Customer Day, we also prepared special souvenirs for our guests.

Mr. Larry B. Stevens, CEO of Würth China, and Mrs. Annelie Andreasson, COO of Würth China, gave all guests a very warm welcome and wished the event a great success.

After the welcome remark, guests were taken to a tour at CDC Phase II. It was officially opened on December 4, 2018 and received public visit for the first time in 2019 on this Customer Day. CDC Phase II has in total 47,000 sqm of operating area and provides in the first stage more than 150,000 storage locations as well as 18 loading and unloading docks. CDC Phase II also has automated inbound and outbound process and high-end Quality Inspection Lab. In line with Industry 4.0, CDC Phase II is built to provide logistics services for China and Asia-Pacific area, with smart all-in-one logistics management to further lower costs, increase efficiency and enhance the company’s competitiveness.

After the tour, guests were free to choose to visit the Würth product experiencing hall or Industry 4.0 sharing. In the experiencing hall, visitors got to try Würth products by themselves and directly experience the quality of German products.

At Industry 4.0 sharing, Würth system team answered the guests’ questions. ORSY^®mat was revealed to the public as a surprise. Furthermore, some experts in the industry were invited to the event to share the latest trends of Industry 4.0. In this new era of intelligence, Würth is on track and looks forward to explore more opportunities together with our guests.

As the last item of agenda, Würth China hosted a dinner for guestrs to show its appreciation for their long-term support and trust. Upholding customer-oriented principle, Würth China has maintained sincere cooperation relations with our guests. We believe we owe our growth to their support over the last 25 years. Looking forward, we will grow hand in hand with them towards a win-win future.
